Reality TV junkie
It is my favorite genre. I have always vehemently denied that brutal fact until I inspected our DVR schedule. Yep, I am a reality TV junkie. It does mean, however, that for the summer I will be watching quite a bit less on the tube. It seems like all the shows are in finale season and surprise, surprise, just in time for May sweeps. Survivor, Amazing Race, American Idol, Gastineau Girls (yes I just ADMITTED that one)...
As for Survivor, I think that this was one of my favorite seasons ever. Maybe even ranking second behind season one.
As for last night's finale... I hate the jury part. A bunch of jaded, jealous jurors just mad because they didn't make it as far as the last two. I hate hearing them whine and bitch and complain about "how the game was played." What drives me even more crazy is that these people apparently have never seen an episode of Survivor! And how Ian could jump from that perch after 13 hours, I will never know. What an idiot!
I am happy to report that they finally got rid of the ridiculous Jeff Probst 'escape' scene. You know the one where he leaves on a jetski and rides all the way to NY or LA. LMAO, that was a refreshing change.
And for the record, Tom rocks!
