Back posting

I just wanted to post a little from the time in FL with Jackson so that I would have it for posterity!

The local dr appointment went great; my sister's pediatrician is amazing. I only hope that I can get the same warm fuzzies from mine at home. All is well and he answered a number of my questions. He also gave me the medical clearance to travel/fly so I will be ready whenever the paperwork is done. I am increasing his formula to see if that helps any with the fussiness and being up every single hour on the hour at night.

My mom and dad drove in for the day last week too so I got a bit of a break to actually take a long shower and dry my hair, lol. DH also came back down after the birth for 4 days and had a blast with Jackson. He is so cute with him.

I got the clearance one week from the day I brought him back from the hospital to travel back to VA. It was the best phone call ever. It may have even topped the one in the middle of the night telling me to rush to the hospital. I was actually able to get a reasonably priced, non stop flight for that very night. So, DH was waiting at the airport for me at 8pm. It was a great feeling to be back home. There really is no place like home. And after 3 weeks away, I can personally attest to that.
