He's here!!!!
Announcing Jackson Parker, weighing in at 8lb's 10 oz on July 12, 2005. Only a week overdue!
We brought him from the hospital to my sisters house on 7/14 and all the consents and such were in place. Now we wait for the ICPC (interstate compact stuff) to go through before we can head home to VA.
I am only online a few minutes a day at this point but wanted to sayhi to everyone. DH was here in FL from Thursday til this morning. But he had to get back to work. I am SOOOOO ready to go home I can't even describe it.
Jackson is doing well and we have a dr appointment in the am. He seems to be hungry a lot so we might have to increase his formula intake. It is also really hard at night. He does ok til about 1am(with his schedule) and then it really falls apart until about 6 or 7. Without DH here it will be doubly hard to keep up with him. Also since my sis, bil, and niece are here I have to run downstairs with him to try and keep everyone else sane. Again, why I sooooo want to be home right now. I also only have the bare minimum ofstuff (so it is tough to keep him and me occupied) That is it for now. Any thoughts on helping him sleep better are welcomed. And he is on 3 ounces of formula every 3-4 hours at this point, if it helps.

Congratulations!!!You must be thrilled to finally have your son! Unfortunately I don't have much useful advice concerning the eating and sleeping. It usually takes a few weeks for babies to adjust to the outside world, and he either could have his nights/days mixed up, or maybe the formula isn't agreeing with him, or it could just be a matter of adjustment. It might take a week or two, but things will settle down. Good luck!

Congratulations to you and welcome to Jackson!
You'll be home before you know it....
No advice on the crying...I hope to be where you are in a week or so.
