Didn't get the job

I guess I should chalk it up to not 'meant to be'. But if you have read this blog at all, you know that I don't believe in that crap. You make your own luck.

The head of the department did let me know that I was a frontrunner and that she wanted to pass my information along to some other colleagues in her network. I agreed and acutally had one call me this morning to check my interest and availability. I need to take a look at their positions and then call her personally to discuss.

I am a bit bummed about missing out on this opportunity :(
